Badenoch and Strathspey into Learning (BASIL+) is a network of Learning Centres located in the Badenoch & Strathspey area of the Highlands, Scotland.

The network consists of four separate LearnDirect Scotland Branded Learning Centres, each offering their own unique learning experiences to customers.

The Learning Centres involved in the BASIL+ Network are

Aviemore & Area Learning Project (AALP), based in Aviemore

Badaguish Outdoor Centre, also based in Aviemore

Badenoch Learning & Resource Centre (BLRC), based in Kingussie

SOS Training & Office Services based in Grantown-on-Spey.

BASIL+ has now grown into a widely recognised and successful network and became a constituted group of charitable status in 2005. The BASIL+ Directors are Andrew Mackenzie, Rosemary Grant, Ron Mercer and Pilar Carstairs.

Our aim is to provide a unique learning opportunity to both individuals and businesses in the local community and further afield. By working together as a network, we can share resources and experiences to help develop our business and services on offer.
